swaping injectors from KDL to KDEL March 13, 2020 02:50PM
has anyone ever tried drilling out and re tap the cylinder head to accept the KDEL injectors were the KDL ones were installed? don't wanna spend the money on different cylinder head.. also, I notice the injector opening pressures on the KDEL are much higher, why can't the KDL injectors run that high??

I think all you would have to do is swap gland nut that threads into the head from one injector to the other. BUT IT WON'T WORK, because the orientation of the nozzle valve on the injector body is 180 degrees off causing 2 holes to spray on the cylinder head instead of into the bowl of the piston!!!!
You can adjust the KLD injectors up to whatever pressure you want.
