Re: Ohio State Pull cancelled May 07, 2020 01:00AM
It is with a heavy heart that we announce the cancellation of Ohio State Benefit Pull scheduled for June 5 & 6, 2020. We held a meeting on May 6 to discuss our next move(s). Due to food supply shortage we would not be able to purchase enough food for our event. And it does not make sense to pull food from the shelves that our fans and supporters need to feed their families. Due to the lack of clarity and communication from the State we have not received permits needed to operate our event. We do appreciate all the fans, sponsors, and competitors that showed us their support the past month. Go to OhioStatePull.com for more info.

We will hold the Benefit Raffle on Saturday, August 1, 2020 at 8 p.m. during the Fort Recovery Grand Nationals tractor pull. Go to OhioStatePull.com/tickets/ to purchase Raffle Tickets and see prizes.

We wish everyone a safe summer and hope next year we can enjoy this motorsport we all love, June 4 & 5, 2021.

This page is a free service. The cost is covered out of my pocket. It takes a great deal of time and a fair amount of money to keep this website going. Donations for: photos, classified ads, forum discussion, etc... are appreciated.

Side Note: We are no longer accepting PayPal donations. They have changed their terms of service and stated they would fine PayPal users for spreading "misinformation" and "hate, violence, racial or other forms of intolerance that is discriminatory". PayPal did not provide definitions for some of these vague terms. Woke corporate policies regarding "misinformation" could result in an automatic fine of $2,500 which would have been removed directly from the customer’s PayPal account. PayPal did backdown from some of their policies but quietly implemented portions of them in later terms of service. A financial institute has no right to monitor social media accounts or speech. This is unacceptable and I'll no longer do business with PayPal.

As a parent of a T1D thank you all for your efforts. We always ride in the ride to cure and they has postponed the season there as well. Hopefully 2021 will be a great year

I am also disappointed that the pull was cancelled. As some readers of the page know my daughter, Jake's sister Kassidy was diagnosed with T1D when she was 6 years old and lived with this horrible disease for 20 years. The Ohio State Pull is a charity event to not only raise awareness to the tragedy that the disease can bring to families but also to raise funds to find a cure. Please take a moment a check out the link that Jake posted on his response on this thread. Thanks.
