Re: Best pro stock driver August 16, 2009 04:31AM
I ain,t for sure but if T-roy could take a lesson from the pig he might be the greatest of our time

Re: Best pro stock driver August 16, 2009 07:03AM
Dennis Miller has driven as many different makes/combinations as anyone, and has a national win this year!

Re: Best pro stock driver August 16, 2009 09:11AM
How about Tim Cain?

Re: Best pro stock driver August 16, 2009 01:01PM
Tim Cain or Bill Miller, in my opinion.

Re: Best pro stock driver August 16, 2009 01:11PM
Tim Cain

Re: Best pro stock driver August 16, 2009 01:13PM

Re: Best pro stock driver August 16, 2009 01:49PM
hell yes, dennis miller can drive (that toy) better than anyone else in the prostock class.

Re: Best pro stock driver August 16, 2009 02:09PM
Robert and Josh Martin do some pretty good things with their tractors out of PA. They alway have tough running tractors and they know how to
drive and win. Not to mention, they're just good, down to earth folks! Smiling

Re: Best pro stock driver August 16, 2009 02:19PM
Dustin Hook.. that boy can drive the wheels off anything!

Re: Best pro stock driver August 16, 2009 03:12PM
larry shope

Re: Best pro stock driver August 16, 2009 04:17PM
If anyone saw Kevin Masterson at Greencastle, it was one of the best i have ever seen!.....he gets my vote

Re: Best pro stock driver August 16, 2009 05:16PM
See when I think of "Driver" I think of the complete package. Actually driving the tractor down the track is just half of it when the tractors are this close in horsepower the pull is won or lost in the pits deciding how to weight the tractor and picking a gear. Generally speaking they are all good "driver's" it pretty much comes down to did that have the right set up for that track that night!! thats just my take

Re: Best pro stock driver August 16, 2009 05:32PM
that response was pretty much right

Re: Best pro stock driver August 16, 2009 08:29PM
scott teipen gets my vote

Re: Best pro stock driver August 17, 2009 12:25AM
Larry shope by a long way

Re: Best pro stock driver August 17, 2009 01:04AM
my best driver of all time would be carl smith. He always new what gear to be in and it was weighted perfected. Larry shoppe is nothing to sneeze at either

Re: Best pro stock driver August 17, 2009 01:23AM
Are we talking all time, or right now? Best ever is John Wilkins and Jon Lorenz, has anybody ever matched their wins and National Champs, not sure. Larry Shope, Carl Smith, John and Mike Linder right there with them on the all-time list.

Today the best are the Boyds, with the Mastersons and Dennis Miller there too.

Re: Best pro stock driver August 17, 2009 02:44AM
The new sheriff in town is John Burton.

Re: Best pro stock driver August 17, 2009 03:02AM
Bubba??? Thats because he's been under the thumb of Vinny! My vote is Dennis Schnitker..

Re: Best pro stock driver August 17, 2009 04:10AM
except for a few realistic posts this should have read "who is my favorite prostock driver/tractor"

Re: Best pro stock driver August 18, 2009 12:49AM
dern straight! i couldnt believe it took that long for anybody to mention Wilkins/Lorenz. National Champs, Farm Show Champs, State Champs, but most importantly Peoples champions, every fan knows the name Shotgun Red. No tractor today could pull in the superstock and prostock class in the same night and put 3,4, or 5 runs on their tractor and still win or place well in both classes!

Re: Best pro stock driver August 17, 2009 11:10AM
+1 for Larry. Not a multi-time champ for nothing. As always-Sully professes the truth.....Winking

Re: Best pro stock driver August 17, 2009 04:50AM
Dustin Hook by far for right now, there's not touchin' him. As for all time The Brinkmeiers....Gary, Don, or Tim doesn't matter they all can wheel that tractor or any tractor that they've ever driven for somebody else.

Re: Best pro stock driver August 17, 2009 05:04AM
John Lorenze

Re: Best pro stock driver August 17, 2009 05:14AM
dustin hook is as good as they come for today' but for the best that was ; the snake and jon lorenz i think jon has won an a ward for every year he pulled untill re tirement. . prostocks are the best show at every pull today and back as long as ive watched tractor .pulls ; thank you just my take

Re: Best pro stock driver August 17, 2009 10:55AM
Scott has been out of the seat for a few years now but this past spring at Tampico he drove one of Littles tractors and finished 2nd. In my opinion it takes somebody that knows what there doing to do that and for him being out of the seat as long as he has been out shows nothing but his skill.

Re: Best pro stock driver August 18, 2009 04:26AM
I was there and i thought Kevin did a pretty good job too. He really babied it outa the hole and drove it rite up the side-line. Good Stuff

Re: Best pro stock driver August 18, 2009 01:33PM
and we've also seen him baby it out of the hole and get 200ft then push the throttle the rest of the way down casue he forgot he had more

Re: Best pro stock driver August 18, 2009 02:16PM
Blindmellon is first
Buffy is a close second....If Buffy had the trophy then he would be first

Re: Best pro stock driver August 19, 2009 06:48AM
