Diesel Allky debate over June 28, 2020 07:00AM
Closest diesel was 7th place. 45 feet back from the winner. Kinda what I figured would happen on an outdoor track where alkies can get moving. Diesel was 7th and that was without Blackbourn there. How bout them Galot tractors!

One hook sample size--in regards to hooking outdoors--and the debate is over? Without Ross making a pass and without Blagrave, Hunt, or Payne being there?

High Tech Redneck, M-80, Froggy, and Triple Bypass were the four diesel tractors that were there. Ross had issues on the line.

High Tech Redneck was the first Diesel to hook and didn't run as many RPM's as it normally does. Must have had something off in the setup. Ross tried it twice, looked like the turbos wouldn't spool up. Might have been to much water?

We were very fortunate to have a good night friday but unfortunately rained out Saturday. As for the class, the results dont show an accurate report of how it compaires. Colin had clutch setup issues and could not get it to go. Mike beck had issues also with loosing a clamp on the exhaust stage pipe and also down a cylinder. Aaron bradish is was on his first pass on a new tractor and froggy was the first time in the 8000 lb class. Normally run 9500. Colin was able to make a pass today and get things worked out. His run today was 315 on the same sled / track as Friday. It is obvious to us that without issues they can run together. The track was better Friday than todays test.
