Was coming out of tractor supply when I snapped this pic in lower Nebraska. Had just added an ih 466 long block, and 20.8 23 degree stones to my load, earlier purchases were a haslag hitch and a 3 sp trans with 1.5 width gears. This trip was 800 miles one way, but being retired, I prefer to pickup stuff in person. I had blown a truck tire the night before when I drove over a rebar stud that was conveniently sticking out of the ground in the drive way of a motel---ugh. When I took pic, walked back to the truck and thought "I don't think Danny Dean started out this way". But home now, awaiting my next trip, hopefully much shorter. |
