Attn: Super Stock Pullers

Wanting to put a feeler out there to see if there would be any interest.
Event would be in Lynn Indiana September 12th. If we hosted a Super Stock class on Saturday night September 12th, how many Super Stock pullers would be interested in attending? This would be a combo class mixed between Diesel Super Stocks, Open Super Stocks, and Light Super Stocks. It would be similar to our Light Pro Stock Dash for Cash event. Nothing is at all official we just want to see if there would be any interest at all. Just putting a feeler out there to guage interest. If interested please contact me at jkfarmtoys@hotmail.com. Lynn Indiana September 12th 7pm Tell your friends. Open to any Light, Heavy, Diesel, Open Super Stock puller. Hook fee will be $100 per tractor. Hook fee will go towards building the purse. We are still gathering sponsors for the purse, so amount still tbd. Please share! |

Wow, just WOW! I get thumbs down for asking a simple question. This is exactly why we won't go to a pull where there is no sanctioning body!!! We NEVER get a clear answer on insurance!!! I am sure I will get another thumbs down on this post but that's ok! |

If you don't go to events that aren't "sanctioned" anyways, why even comment? You don't like to go, thats fine, but no need to comment. I'm glad to see an event happen! |

Dwight, to answer your question it's because we have been asked to come to some of these types of events in our area. I just went though this again this week. I asked the promotor what insurance they had and he told me the name of the company and it's a good company. What I later found out was the EVENT itself was insured but I was not insured as a competitor. And the way it was explained to me was if our tractor hurt someone it would fall under my liability. I am concerned that some of these things have been overlooked because of the virus that we all have to deal with and we all want to go pulling. Good luck and be safe. |

that was why i had personal liability on my tractor no matter where it was hooked and whatever happened something to consider in todays times |

Who is coming for the SS class? You have listed light pros. I would be traveling about 2.5 hours and the supers would be the class I want to see. Went to your pull last year for the first time and that was a great class of LSS. Wish you were running them as the hooks are few and far between for them in this part of the country. |

Working on building a list of pullers. I will add that it is a mighty impressive list thus far.
In terms of LSS, they are open to come participate in our Super Stock Class. I know some cant and wont be able to weigh up and I am sorry about that. There are some Lights that can and do weigh up however. This class is literally a combination of 3 Super Stock Classes. Its not sanctioned, some rules that are typically followed might not be. This is a lets go out, have a good time and pull type of event. Not for points, not to get rich, just to come out and have a good time. We were blown away with our turnout of lights last year. We hope that most of them can come back be it this year or years to come. Hope this helps! |
