Pre turbo water September 03, 2020 10:06AM
Going to put some water pre-turbo on a 3000rpm, 2.6 13mm A pump. I know some may say it’s not necessary but I’m going to try so I can see the results for myself. Just curious how many oz? How much is too much don’t want to hurt anything and want to keep compressor wheel speed to a maximum. Thanks.

Not sure what type of nozzles you are going to try to use but I’d recommend using a very small tip and make sure you point the spray away from the compressor wheel so it draws it back into the wheel. Good luck

I wouldn't use anything bigger than an # 18 tip ( enderle) and have at least 1000 psi

Don’t put water there it will slow your turbo speed down

In my experience the only thing pre turbo water will do is lower the exhaust temperature. If your getting enough fuel and your pump timing is right you don’t need it. If you want to build power and your rules allow you’ll need at least 1000 psi, and blow it in after the turbo
