S300 on 4440 / 466 engine March 08, 2021 04:06AM
I went down this road a few years ago and found that using a 55 series manifold will allow the T4 S300 turbine housing to bolt on the manifold, but the issue is still the water manifold clearing the compressor cover.

Has anyone put an S300 on the stock T3 (4430-4640 style) exhaust manifold and used an adapter (T3 to T4) plate? what kind of spacer is needed (to get away from water manifold/t-stat housing) if you don't modify that?

Thanks.

Keep the 50 / 55 T04 Ex. Manifold and move / lean water manifold over center line of engine for the larger turbo clearance. This will be the best option for simplicity and performance. Take water manifold to mill and change mounting surface angle to lean it out over valve cover. Straighten up bolt holes to accommodate new mount angle and your ready to go. DW
