BG, Hamburg, & Pike: How were the crowds? August 23, 2009 01:40PM
I didn't make it to BG this year (plan to next year), but how were the crowds at the 3 pulls involved in the scheduling issue?

How was Hamburg's crowd on Friday?
Did Pike's attendance suffer?

Was BG down, about the same, or up in attendance this year?

I was at Hamburg Friday. The crowd looked way down, not so much the infield seating but the grandstand couldnt of had 200 people in it.

Attended Hamburg on Friday night. I thought it was a good crowd for a Friday night considering they had moved the venue to a two day affair. Saturday fair attendence is usually huge and I'm sure the stands would have been crowded with good weather. I didn't go expecting the stands to be packed either night for a few years until fans get use to the new schedule.

The crowds at BG were great this year. They didn’t seem to be affected at all by the other events. The numbers in the classes were also excellent, overall it was a great show, one of the best years at BG in my opinion.

Side Note: We are no longer accepting PayPal donations. They have changed their terms of service and stated they would fine PayPal users for spreading "misinformation" and "hate, violence, racial or other forms of intolerance that is discriminatory". PayPal did not provide definitions for some of these vague terms. Woke corporate policies regarding "misinformation" could result in an automatic fine of $2,500 which would have been removed directly from the customer’s PayPal account. PayPal did backdown from some of their policies but quietly implemented portions of them in later terms of service. A financial institute has no right to monitor social media accounts or speech. This is unacceptable and I'll no longer do business with PayPal.
