In a Super Field class, with 478 CI limit, P pump and a 3250 RPM limit. Curious how a 8.3 Cummins would stack up to IH and Deere motors.
A variance would be offered for the bigger CI in the Cummins. Or info to someone I can talk to with experience with the 8.3 |

I am surprised that any club would allow an engine with a 28 in3 advantage compete in the class. |

One thing I fail to mention, also part of the rule they rule a stock out of the box 3ML 466 charger. I have heard the 8.3 Cummins head doesn't flow that well but with
it combination , maybe it wouldn't matter |

I think you'll find Nick de-cubed the 8.3 to 470. Whatever he's done has made him competitive with the red and green tractors. (Bluegrass Pullers limited RPM Hot Farm).
