4430 quad range half gears?? June 06, 2021 09:54AM
Currently have factory 4430 quad rear with 4440 overdrive gears in the 2 speed can run 20 mph in C4 and many people tell me D3-4 will not hold together for long. I am running a 5 disc Rursch clutch and the 2 speed is built. Wondering if there’s a half gear set between C and D out there to get me a little more speed and not be a weak point.

Yes, you can get half gears for the quad too. The quad is basically the same trans as the synchro with the 2 spd added in front of it.
