What's the best way to build a 5.9 cummins for 3000 rpm class? June 29, 2021 09:37AM
Looking into a 360 cube class, 3000 rpms, any turbo and water to air intercooler. Can cut off intake and use aftermarket.

How much hp should one expect?

Does it need aftermarket rods? Stock rods cryogenic frozen?

800-1000hp depending on head work and turbo and size of innercooler. You can run stock rods

How much hp with a stock 12V head that has had heavy work on? How much are you giving up over a Hamilton Head? Will the rpms limit enough that the aftermarket head is not necessary?
