Turbo Oil Pressure
|
Getting oil in compressor housing and crossover pipe, been running 120-140 lbs of oil pressure down the track. Turbo guy says seal only for compression not for oil and just have too much oil going through. Put a regulator before the turbo with a gauge set for 60, and it still matches the engine oil pressure (85) when idling. Any advice, the regulator is a brand new Aviaid. |

Usually an orifice is used to reduce oil pressure to the turbocharger, I am not sure what size is right for your application, it will take some trial and error to determine the right size. |
