A prime example of that is the 180 allis. |

Traditionally the 180 is a hard tractor to balance properly. It is disproportionate as far as a heavy front end and a lite weight rear end. Unlike a IH of the same era they tend to be lighter up front. All I’m saying is the fulcrum is different on the allis. |

So any ideas on how to correct this on a allis 180, any advice other than trial an error ? Thanks |

The 180s are so hard to balance why so many of them pulling? Especially Is the late 70s and early 80 that won a lot? |

Most LLSS tractors that I have seen have trouble getting enough weight front end at 6250. I wish mine was noise heavy. |

A 180 ALLIS HOOKS BETTER THAN ANY OUT THERE IF YOU CAN KEEP THE WD45 REAR TOGETHER |

The fulcrum is further back this making it harder to consistently carry the front on different tracks. I’ve had a 2 charger 180 LSS for a long time. I have several journals to prove my point dating back to 1980. |

2800# to 3200# on the front depending on hitch height and track conditions. Some pullers will run a lower hitch on a good biting track to keep the front end down and also to put less stress on the rear-end so it won't cause breakage. |

3 feet William must pull on sand tracks all the time !! I'm thankful for the extra length when tipping the final drives back one hole. |
