Looking for honest opinions on what you think the payout breakdown would have been for the Hotfarm class based off this add. I’m not looking to bash any of it, just wanting to see if I was just being unrealistic on my expectations. Thank you

Based off the averages of the other classes I would expect something similar to this.

1. $1,000.00
2. $410.00
3. $330.00
4. $280.00
5. $250.00
6. $210.00
7. $180.00
8. $150.00
9. $120.00
10. $90.00

R Hall, what was the payout? That is if you know. It sounds like you were a competitor? How many tractors showed up, also who placed where? Thanks Wondering

Paid $1000 to winner. Rest of us got $100. Was 5 tractors Friday. Was at least one more showed Saturday but were turned away. The winner was guilted into splitting up his money with everyone else, so everyone other than him left with more than the $100. Honestly, I’m not sure I would have done same. If they would have told us Friday at driver’s meeting how they were doing our payout is one thing, but they didn’t. I personally do not feel that your entry fee back is payout. They charged $50 a head gate fee to everyone also, so don’t feel that it is right that even the second place tractor could not even win back his fees at a pull claiming big payouts.

Don't think you are out of line at all. I would have crunched the numbers like you to see what you would be competing for. Also, your numbers are the correct ones, I just rounded my numbers.

Not surprising. Most truck pulls don’t pay the tractor class worth a hoot.

My general rule is never go where they refer to a tractor or truck pull as "sled pulling". This isn't street outlaws on TV, we always referred to big payouts for 1st place as sucker bait.
