any of the 55 will bolt on, but un less you notch the sleeves to clear the valves it wont work, ot that was the problem i ran onto. the valves were too big to go down in the cylinder if it is still 404,

& if you notch the sleeves you loose all the beneits of the 55 series. If you're 4.25 bore stick with the 40 series head.
