Power out of 466 with gt42

Curious as to what kind of power a 1066 with a 625cc fvp model 100, 466 motor, Vogel cam, 4x24 dual feed injectors, and a fvp gt4294 would make for power. Debating going that route and was curious on horsepower numbers. Thanks. |

That would be my guess as well. A rotary pump will hold you back quite a bit over a P. Follow us on Facebook @ Mean Streak Pulling Team [m.facebook.com] |

I used to run a 466 5x22 single feeds, gt 42 on a p pump at 720 cc and was 1000. I would think you should be at least 800 Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 03/10/2022 03:35AM by Oly. |

Would a precision turbo make more power than the gt42 then? Heard alot of good about both. Can't seem to find much info other than word of mouth. |

You don’t have enough fuel for much more turbo |

Better off to run a 467 S400 Borg Warner with this setup. GT42 (whether it's 4294 or 4202) isn't going to lug as well with only 466 cubes and that larger compressor wheel - especially if you can't run a cooler and don't have a P pump. Not to mention you get a .90a/r turbine housing option for fine tuning to help lug down low in the RPMs, where I believe the GT42 only goes down to 1.01a/r.
There's a new 467 for sale on the "for sale" section of this page priced reasonable. |
