Holset HT100 - anyone using this turbo for pulling? September 01, 2009 02:01PM
Just curious to know if anyone is using the Holset HT100 for pulling. If not, any reasons why not? Thanks.

Think several LSS out east use them as the top turbo on a 2 turbo/2stage set-ups. If I remember right Marcus Whetleson uses this in the Gunpowder and Lead IH. The Silver Bullet Reloaded I think has it for its bottom charger also. Seen a few prostocks use them but think they have reliability issues with them. Not sure how easy they are to find also. Neet looking monster!

we have several ht 100s some with the tight exhaust housing and some with the bored wheels so they spin up quicker. Only problem with these are they only move 270lbs of air per min. some 4.8-5.2" chargers will do that or more.

Hot Iron uses one and has been very successful with it. They seem to be very realiable.
