Why doesn’t ppl allow the billet alumninum in the LSS they allow recast IH and John Deere but a Ford or Allis Chalmers or Case can’t have a billet block how does that make any sense!?? |

One of the current pullers who happens to pull a new Holland complained about the billet blocks so that’s why they aren’t allowed. |

That's the hole argument. The billet Ford block is not legal on the Championship Tour yet legal at the state level PPL. So they are keeping Hootman and other pullers out of the CT that are basically running an after market block like everyone else |

There is more to the story than whats been posted here, I was in the mix of all this back when it was front and center with my Ford Lss, The current situation has absolutely nothing to do with Jason Hootman, its over some butt hurt and other Pullers not wanting some strong Pullers having good parts to beat them with back in the day. It is time to update get over it and move on! And Hootman can win anywhere, He is strong!

Bob, I couldn't agree more. To many pullers try to influence rules because they don't look at the big picture of how it will benefit the class and the overall show. Having the billet blocks for the Ford guys should be a no brainer. The Hootman's has already proven that they are capable of not only running with the best, but winning. It's time for the PPL leadership to legalize the Ford billet block. By not doing so makes them appear to favor a certain group of pullers. Not a good look!
