Turbo oil tank breather August 08, 2022 03:48AM
What is everyone using for a breather for a separate turbo oil tank. Trying to do multiple chargers have the returns going to the turbo tank with 12an line tank holds around two gallon of oil I put 1/2 npt fitting out of top and an automotive filter threaded onto it… worked a few times now it’s blowing lots of oil into intake tried blowing air in returns and it seams to be getting backpressure until I take my filter breather off. Any ideas to use something different? Thanks everyone!

What do you mean by automotive filter. Can you post a picture?

How many turbos and how much boost? In theory there shouldn’t be any pressure building in this system, but I’m sure some pressure leaks past the turbo seal rings.
