Improved Farm (10500# 11500#)•
All general rules apply.• 3 in charger max• No cut tires allowed. 20.8 x 42 MAXIMUM• Roll Bar or Roll Cage required. Scatter Blanket recommended. • RPM limit 30% over stock unless equipped with a steel flywheel and scatter blanket.• Block, driveline/transmission, rear axle, and sheet metal must match the model ofmanufacturer.• No custom frames. Tractors must have stock wide front ends and framerails.• Water injection is allowed.• Must have side shields if running a belt driven fan. An electric fan is preferred.• Wheelie bars and a kill switch located directly above the drawbar are required. Unlimited Open (6500# 7000# 8500# 9500#)• All general rules apply.• Tractors allowed only one injection pump. Tractors can have any size injection pump. Tractors can have any size injection pump up to and including a P series Bosch pump. Intercoolers are allowed.• No use of nitrous oxide.• Any type induction allowed on gas tractors.• Only one fuel allowed per tractor.• Multiple carbs are allowed.• Alcohol fuel is allowed, only if you have all fire safety equipment.• Must follow all other NTPA safety requirements. Tractor & Truck Pulling Rules
2022 Rules supersede any and all previous rules. We welcome any and all ideas for next year as we move forward to make each year better and more successful from the year past. GENERAL RULES• Minors must be accompanied by a parent or a guardian. Parent or guardian MUST sign the Release & Waiver of Liability Agreement on behalf of minor. No one younger than 12 years of age will be allowed to pull. Minors can only pull in Straight and Hot off the Farm Classes.• Registration for the class closes once the class has started. No additions can be made at that time.• Grace weight will be 200# in all classes except 15000# classes (500# grace)• Entries will be randomly assigned pulling positions• Tractor and Driver must weigh in before each class begins at our designated scale on the grounds. Tractors will also be required to reweigh anytime they return to pits from staging area before their class pulls.• Operator should know their tractor’s weight and proper classes to pull in before registering. The classes were set up to allow a choice in Off the Farm classes. Any tractor pulling in Straight off the farm classes may not also pull in Hot off the farm classes and vice versa.• No dual wheels allowed on tractors• Pieces lost off the Tractor or Truck during the pull will be grounds for disqualification.• No weights hanging directly above the drawbar. Must have a 12” opening for hooking up to the sled.• No weight frame or weight can be extended 24” beyond front of the Tractor. No weight brackets shall extend beyond the outside of the rear wheels. Applies to Straight off the Farm only. (Factory Style)• Tractors will be disqualified if the front wheels are 24” or more above the ground from start to finish. This will be at flag man and Track Officials discretion. Front weight bracket and weights not to extend further than 11 ft from the center of the rear axle.• All pullers have one warning for speeding. Know your classes speed limit so you can avoid disqualification.• Drawbar height maximum will be 20” to the top of the hook point.• All pullers must furnish a 3” clevis fastened to the drawbar with ¾” or larger bolt and nut orsafety pin.• Any Tractor with a blower (internal or external) not naturally aspirated, will pull in the Turbo Classes• All tractors must be in neutral or park when being hooked or unhooked from sled.• All pullers must start with a tight chain and driver will be allowed two attempts (consecutive) to adjust speed in the first 100 feet of the pull• Tractor must remain within the boundaries of the track. Failure to do so will result indisqualification.• Alcohol may be used as a fuel in open classes only. Open class drivers will be required to wear a• Helmet and a full fire suit (jacket, pants, gloves and shoes).• All drivers must remain seated and must drive in a safe manner.• If track allows, a pull may be measured beyond 300 feet (floating finish).• In a pull off, puller is allowed one attempt to start the sled and make their pull.• When puller is pulling and before he or she starts to make their pull, they must have the green flag. Any puller starting on the red flag will be disqualified.• All drivers pull at their own risk. At registration all drivers must sign a Waiver of Liability• Only the puller is allowed on the Tractor just before, during and right after the pull is completed.• A 5mph speed limit is to be maintained in the pit area. Failure to follow this rule is grounds for immediate removal from the event and is at the Pull Officials Discretion.• Absolutely NO alcohol consumption is allowed by any participant until after the classes they are pulling in is complete.• Only one wristband per pulling vehicle will be issued.• Track officials have the right to move a puller to a different class.• In case of disqualification, a safety concern, or any other pull related issue THE TRACK OFFICIALS DECISIONS ARE FINAL. * Entry fee will be $25 for Straight Off the Farm classes.• Entry fee will be $30 for Hot Off the Farm classes, and Street Legal trucks, Improved Farm, Unlimited Open, Super Farm and Unlimited Open trucks.• The Glenwood City FFA Alumni and the Student Chapter along with the St Croix County Fair Grounds and its partners will not be responsible for injuries, claims, losses, or liabilities suffered or incurred by the participant/helper/spectator while on the St. Croix County Fair Grounds at any time. Straight Off the Farm Additional Rules• All general Rules apply• Stock rpm’s will be checked at random• Stock appearing drawbar. Drawbar may be slid in• Clevis must have a 3 inch hole• 16.9 - 38 tires maximum. No cut or back ground tires allowed. (applies to 4500# 5500# ONLY)• Will be checked for working PTO and Hydraulics at random• Maximum drawbar height to be 20 inches. Hitch must be as it came from the factory-unaltered for that specific tractor.• This class follows PURE FARM STOCK as it came from the manufacture. STOCK IS STOCK!Examples : No cheater strings on governors. Stock air cleaner piping and setup No double clamping of cables to tie crossovers down or use of turnbuckles to tie crossovers down Stock governed RPM’s No cheater turbos Stock pumps & chargers in turbo classes NO PRESSED STEEL WHEELS UNLESS FACTORY OPTION ON YOUR TRACTOR After Chores Special Additional Rules• All general rules apply.• Tractor must have a stock appearing block, frames, transmission, rear end and axel housing for the manufacturers make and model of tractor being pulled. Cast cylinder head and their replacements are to remain unchanged in outside appearance. No Minneapolis Moline HD 800 components. Aftermarket cast iron manifolds allowed.• Tractors will be allowed to have side shields and rear fenders.• Tractors may run up to 20% over Farm Stock rpm’s• Hitches can be no more than 20 inches in height and must be 18 inches or more from the center of therear axle to drawbar hole.• No down draft, tank or airplane carburetors unless original factory equipment. John Deere letter series tractors can have duplex carburetor. Top cut tires allowed, No full cuts No water injection |
