20.8 Pro Pullers
|
Was wondering what everyone’s opinion on the pro pullers in the 9500lb hot farm class vs the Deep tread tires. Thanks |

I'd get a set of the new Mitas and use an 10" wheel width,...you'll grow your drawbar height 2" down the track and be unbeatable... |

I've talked with some guys who have ran the pro pullers and said that they had great success with them. They just were a little finicky getting dialed in |

Depends what kind of dirt you typically pull on. They seem to have more success on looser, or sandier type tracks. A good clay track, the deep treads typically shine better.Kinda hard to have one that is best for all tracks. Thats what I have learned from tire guys, and have seen at the track. Thats just my 2 cents. |

We had a 20.8 Tire built overseas and it seemed like they took a while to get figured out for some people, but we have had customers have success with them.
A new mold is in the works for a 20.8X38 Pro Puller Holeshot in 10, 12, and 14 ply. These will be all American made, and modeled after our 24.5X32 and 30.5X32. We are hoping to have test tires before year end and have them available to buy this spring. Thank you for considering us, and let me know if you have any questions on our products! Hey Aaron
|
Will the USA made tires be radials? |

The tires will not be a true radial, but will be built similar to our 24.5 and 30.5 Holeshot tires which have worked great. Many of the 20.8 classes have had huge jumps in horsepower and torque over the last few years (like all other pulling classes), so the need for a purpose built tire is more now than ever.
As tire technology has advanced, we believe the radial tires currently on the market will be outperformed by our pulling specific 20.8. All the tires available before these have simply been farm tires were been modified to fit pulling needs. Ours will be built with a heavier tire casing, soft rubber on sidewalls and harder rubber in the face, full tread width that won't have any "notches" on the corners (this gives a huge advantage in footprint vs ag tires), and offered in different 3 different ply ratings to get you the best results. Let me know if you have any further questions. Aaron Docter Pro Puller Tires 402-840-0244 |

Will the “full pull” tires be discontinued? |

We are done making any more new Full Pull 20.8X38 tires. All new 20.8 tires will be Holeshots, and made in the USA.

Will you still be making the “full pull” tire in 24.5 ? |

Hey Aaron

So will the new 20.8’s be the same width as an old 24.5 now? Kinda like the new 24.5’s are the size of the old 30’s? |

The Holeshot 20.8 will be built to maximum legal specifications for pulling associations, as we've done with our other tires.
