Anybody use a Polaris 570 Ranger for a pit vehicle? LLSS so not to heavy.

Yes, I use a 570 for my 8k diesel truck and it works. I do add a few hundred pounds in the box to add traction. It will get around fine at most locations but it’s no Kabota.

I used to use a 800 Polaris, Last 10 years have gotten a Chev Tracker, 2 door, air cruise, removable front and rear tops. 4 wheel drive. Can drive it more of the time yearly if wanting! Both work, just personal choice.

We used a 570 ranger for the first half of the season til we found a Kubota RTV. Nothing will hold a candle to an RTV, but the ranger held its own. It’s main struggle was traction on hills. The tractor was 9500# and it just didn’t have the weight to tug it up much more than a small hill without spinning out. If you’re mostly on level ground, shouldn’t have a problem.

I've handled a 8000 ss on the push bar up front while towing another 8000 ss with a Kubota rtv 1100. Also had 3 LLSS's on it at the same time. They're definitely workhorses.

We use a 900 Polaris and it struggles big time pulling around a 6500lb light modified. We have 2 tractors and it won't even begin to pull both of them together. We tried hooking a 1000 ranger on it and it still has its hands full.
