Just curious, how well is that gonna work for the Superfarms, with Spencer at 1:00, and Dell Rapids at 5:00? Will Spencer have them early enough they can pull quick, then beeline to Dell Rapids?

Dell Rapids in the past has made the Super Farm hook towards the end of the show to accomodate the travel time needed.

They had 4wd set to do that last year, that is why they were so happy Spencer was "rained out".
Got to Dell Rapids in plenty of time. Pulled decent time, and got to take in the super farm 11 way pulloff at midnight in a coat! Oh what a thrill! Crowd stuck around till the bitter end.

The 2wd and 4wd classes have both been changed to state level hooks for this event. Sorry for any confusion!

Why dont you just say they have been changed to no money classes, instead of the (OFFICIAL STATE HOOK) word??????

Looking at last weekends pulls (NE State Fair and Ravenna) it looks like the "state" level classes still got pay checks? If you want it to be a no money class, then by all means donate your winnings back to the Dell Rapids group so they can have the show again next year!

Just wondering..if all the superfarms do make it to Dell Rapids...what is considered the " Finals" ?....im sure most or hope most will all make the trip up to Dell Rapids.....and let the final pull of the year in the class to be the " finals".... Looks by the point standings in lots of the classes that it will be a pull to the finish...just wish Spencer wouldnt have wimped out and was the spencer pull it use to be. as a fan..been to Dell the last few years and they always put on a hell of a pull...

They must be so scared that they won't make enough to pay for the show so they are charging fans $18 just to get in the gate- what a rip off. That is going to piss a lot of people off. Two weeks before show and only seen one ad in a paper, and it isn't even the local town paper. Mabey they should have just passed for the year and try again next year.

For 18 they are getting a heck of a deal! Lots of pulling, lots of vehicles, you must not get to town much, been to a movie lately? And if you are lucky that is only about a hour and a half.
Go get tickets for the Iowa Speedway, then come back and tell us how much of a rip off 18 is! Oh, and have a water for 3 friggin dollars while you are there !!!!! You DO have to get some nitro ice cream there !!!!!! Just shut up and pay for it, it is worth it !!
I hope Dell Rapids makes it really well this year, they will have dates available to make it a two or three day show if they want to next year. Spencer is history. Take lots of pictures when you are there this year, so you can look back and remember what it was like years ago. You'll want to forget last year, and this year.

take pictures of what, the water that sits on the track when it rains because they haven't put any tile under it yet? If they would advertize a little to get some people there they whouldn't have to screw the ones that do show up so bad. And a movie in town is only $4 you idiot.

Pretty darn good chance to see RR running in Dell Rapids, the beans aren't turning very fast "down here", so harvest will not be much of an issue.
