Thursday night pull February 16, 2023 02:48PM
I am at the 2023 farm show Thursday night. Not a fan of the loud music playing when the announcer is trying to announce,or when the tractors are reving/spooling up. Speaker placement isn't the best from my sections viewing stand point. Not trying to bitch. Still a good pull. Alot of fun but me and the group I was sitting with came up with this conclusion. Any other thoughts?

Agree, thumbs down for the music selection and timing. The sound is still terrible where I sit, but I've heard that in some areas of the arena it's better than last year.

This page is a free service. The cost is covered out of my pocket. It takes a great deal of time and a fair amount of money to keep this website going. Donations for: photos, classified ads, forum discussion, etc... are appreciated.

Side Note: We are no longer accepting PayPal donations. They have changed their terms of service and stated they would fine PayPal users for spreading "misinformation" and "hate, violence, racial or other forms of intolerance that is discriminatory". PayPal did not provide definitions for some of these vague terms. Woke corporate policies regarding "misinformation" could result in an automatic fine of $2,500 which would have been removed directly from the customer’s PayPal account. PayPal did backdown from some of their policies but quietly implemented portions of them in later terms of service. A financial institute has no right to monitor social media accounts or speech. This is unacceptable and I'll no longer do business with PayPal.

While I don’t mind the music of the idea of it playing, it’s seems the announcers and music are competing at the same sound level - if that makes sense. Timing is probably best thing to point out, but it seems like it’s being OVERdone.

I like that they’re trying new things.

I miss the lights out/light show by the way.
