Will bungart take over as the sled next year at NFMS?

Re: NFMS 2024 sled February 19, 2023 07:25AM
I could only hope! A lot of missed settings…
Bungart at Shipshewanna reweighted the sled twice and had a lot more classes than they had at louisville

Who do they have lined up for the job?

Vaughn Bauer. He's been there for years and he knows the track and facility better than anyone.

Side Note: We are no longer accepting PayPal donations. They have changed their terms of service and stated they would fine PayPal users for spreading "misinformation" and "hate, violence, racial or other forms of intolerance that is discriminatory". PayPal did not provide definitions for some of these vague terms. Woke corporate policies regarding "misinformation" could result in an automatic fine of $2,500 which would have been removed directly from the customer’s PayPal account. PayPal did backdown from some of their policies but quietly implemented portions of them in later terms of service. A financial institute has no right to monitor social media accounts or speech. This is unacceptable and I'll no longer do business with PayPal.

Be hard to do without a sled wouldn’t it?

Is this all just people bitching or is a change really in the future?

I'm assuming maybe you're new to the sport. Vaughn Bauer runs an builds the Ironman sleds from Bauer Built Manufacturing out of Paton, Iowa. He's operated and provided the sled for the NFMS for years. Besides the NFMS he and his sleds also do Bowling Green, Ohio and many of the other biggest pulls throughout the US in the summer. Vaughn will continue to provide the sled and operate it in Louisville until he decides to retire (and I wouldn't expect that anytime soon). Louisville and Bowling Green are the best of the best and there's a reason why they use Vaughn... because he's the best in the game.

Ray from Decision Maker said they were next in line to take it over. Ray seems like a very knowledgeable guy. It was really cool talking with him.
