Hmmm

Watching the NTPA live stream and they interviewed Colin Ross, did I hear it correctly that Bauers are building a diesel superstock?? |

Yeah that made me excited. First I heard of it. Can't wait to see it. Gordon Cox For The Love Of Pulling [www.facebook.com] [fortheloveofpulling.godaddysites.com] |

Hope Ross isn't building the motor for it the thing will only go 20ft indoors |

caseih -- that's still probably 20ft farther than your tractor |

I think Caseih is a sparkplug lover and afraid of what the ol' McCormick will do to them when they get it dialed in. I for one hope Colin is the brains behind the powerplant because you know it'll be a top contender when the bugs are worked out of it. Go huff more alcohol fumes Caseih |

Refer to Masterson's thread, if the smoke tube won't flow enough to keep a Pro Stock
running to it's potential imagine what it does to Triple Bypass and Bone Twister, you know, tractors making real power. The "razor's edge" that PS tractors run on is a boardwalk compared to top running DSS tractors. It's been fun to watch the smoke tube jump when PS and DSS tractors hooked at NFMS but not budge when SF tractors did. Thanks to Dan M. we know why. |

horsepower addiction

Did you see triple bypass almost go over the wall last year ? The smoke tube capacity is irrelevant. As for the river rat melting pistons because of the smoke tube,...that is about as funny as your opinion of the horsepower difference between a top pro and a top diesel SS........... |

This is a problem of semantics. Kevin was talking about backpressure limitations of the pipe on the tractor, NOT the smoke tube on the sled. There has already been one recent allowance for a larger pipe on the tractors....and was subject of a thread three years ago. PS and SS have gained a ton power (thus moving more air) since that conversation and change... |
