My opinion here - if I were applying for the first time it would be more memorable to.go to the mailbox and get an acceptance letter - something tangible and physical - than to simply open an email that was wedged between an ensil from a Nigerian prince and an email wanting to assist me in my claim from Camp Lejune.

A letter - you can hold it, read it, and if it's your first one, it might get put in a frame and hung on the wall.

Tradition is timeless, whether it is 1973 or 2023. Traditions are special.
