It's just a bit over a week, until the new triple Allison of the Green Monster Team will have its maiden run at their home pull at Füchtorf, which is also the opener of the Euro Cup (the European GN) and Germany's biggest event.
They are putting their big superchargers on three new EFI Allisons on a brand new chassis with all their latest tricks and lessons learned from their twin Allison light mod. Everybody is thrilled to see, if it can be a match for the Hemi machines. Pictures at the bottom AND! After the very positive reception of last years event on here, we're doing it again and will put Germany's biggest event online live. Two days at 6-7 hours each with an incredible line up (14 light mods with different engine combinations!!), Unlimited, Unl Super Stocks, Mods, Super Sports... Check it out! If you are curios, what to expect, last year's streams are now free to watch: Floating Finish - the German Tractor Pulling Web Show and EU Live Streams: [www.youtube.com] Edited 3 time(s). Great to see the Allisons stepping up the game. New EFI triple in Europe and a 4-superchrger twin in the U.S. With them both well, as the Mod class needs the variety! |

Sure would be nice to see something like that in America. Also nice that some fans like a longer show instead of complaining if it runs past 2 hours. |

Sascha, in your humble opinion would you think the Green Monster would run competitively in the states against our mods? IF I WAS TO WIN THE LOTTERY, I would love to offer those guys an all-expense paid trip to come pull in the states with their equipment. |

The light twin (Mitas Green Monster) in your 6000 lbs light unl. class could throw 500 lbs of weight on (the nose). Anybody running at that weight class with more than 4000 hp knows what that means.
If you throw 4 twin Hemis and the Mitas Monster into one competition, betting on the Allisons coming in second is a pretty solid decision. The new triple - remains to be seen. According to the CAD calculations the tractor should make 7900 lbs. With the Bobcat and Lambada there are two pretty potent teams in our competition here, that I guess everybody in the US knows, don't fool around and give a pretty good point of reference (and from what I have heard, you're going to get a dose of that again in the not so distant future). Compared to the old triple, which still ran with original Allison super chargers, the new one with the hmd chargers got an about 15% faster gear ratio to start with. The engines, due to the different superchargers, now will have an about 25% higher "useable" rpm range. With that billet rear end and the engines way further to the front and lower to the ground, it should now be able to keep the nose down, too. Give them a few runs - and this will become VERY interesting. Floating Finish - the German Tractor Pulling Web Show and EU Live Streams: [www.youtube.com] |

In the U.S., if Green Monster started winning a few hooks, it would be banned or the blower rules for hemis would be opened up more. |

Does the ballpark number of 7900lbs out of the CAD already include driver and operational liquids (fuel, lubricants, inhalation water)? |
