That's sadly unfortunate. It was a fine event.

What was attendance like? Was Freedom Hall 50% full? Closer to 25%? Just curious.

This page is a free service. The cost is covered out of my pocket. It takes a great deal of time and a fair amount of money to keep this website going. Donations for: photos, classified ads, forum discussion, etc... are appreciated.

Side Note: We are no longer accepting PayPal donations. They have changed their terms of service and stated they would fine PayPal users for spreading "misinformation" and "hate, violence, racial or other forms of intolerance that is discriminatory". PayPal did not provide definitions for some of these vague terms. Woke corporate policies regarding "misinformation" could result in an automatic fine of $2,500 which would have been removed directly from the customer’s PayPal account. PayPal did backdown from some of their policies but quietly implemented portions of them in later terms of service. A financial institute has no right to monitor social media accounts or speech. This is unacceptable and I'll no longer do business with PayPal.

Maybe they should let Tom's new group put it on.

There was the obvious reduction in seats when they pulled the lower (closer) seats - which I believe was a mistake. Just wonder if the main sponsor backed out? But attendance numbers would be interesting as well as livestream numbers.

If it's true that it's not happening, WHY? What went wrong? I assume it's a money thing but then my immediate thought goes to Jake's question about attendance. I watched online but don't have a great memory of what attendance looked like.

I find it odd that it's done considering it seemed to be successful. I wonder if pullers aren't interested in it due to pulling there a month prior for the NFMS.

been there every year.
After the 1st year the seats were packed and the event was run very well. The reason for the no go this year is the economy. The reason for the economy is 4 years of a fraudulent POTUS. If the mods want to delete this so be it,...but it doesn't change reality......

Why do you think that it will get deleted?

But it doesn't change YOUR reality. Which is way off by the way. Blaming a cancelled tractor pull on the President? That's rich even for this board.

Reality and Facts....are the same thing. Taxes and Inflation are the same thing....you need to study who destroyed the economy and then you will not be so ignorant on this subject.

The reality is that for individuals there are plenty of people struggling in this economy. The other reality is that corporations are not struggling. The title sponsor for the event is not struggling.

So, we’re saying that the pull sponsor (MAC) wasn’t going to commit to the pull and that’s why it ended?

What’s it matter
If Mac trailer doesn’t wanna spend the money on it what’s it matter? It’s his choice end of story

The point being, if the pull was based solely on the support of MAC Trailer, then it was never going to be sustainable. You can’t run anything based on one sole sponsor regardless of who it is.

Now if we were just testing the waters to see if it was feasible long term, that’s a whole different discussion

It's not just the pull that was reliant on MAC the entire show might as well pack it up without MAC. I think the people that put the show on probably should have listened when all the big manufacturers wanted to go to every other year because the show is terrible anymore, and with a handful of OO left it's really not even needed anymore for the truck manufacturers. Why spend a few million to go to the show when you aren't going to make enough sales from the show to offset that?

good deal
About the time this post was made saying they weren't having it the Facebook group for the pull was updated with this year's dates so who knows. Apparently some misinformation was going around I guess.
