What is the weather looking like and how much rain have you got so far???

Re: Shelby MO. Fall Nationals Run What You Brung Sat 2pm September 25, 2009 02:21AM
We only got about 1 inch all together and the sun is shining now. We have been dry for a month now so the rain wont hurt us. The track is downhill so no water ever stands on it, so unless it just rains all day Saturday it would doubtful for a rainout!! Txs for asking!!!!

Re: Shelby MO. Fall Nationals Run What You Brung Sat 2pm September 25, 2009 03:20AM
The local area has plenty of equipment for track prep. The pits are on a sloped area. should be ok. The sun is shining.
Speaking from experince.

I have heard 4x4's from CMPA, IAMO,Northwest, and Ilinois group are coming there is usally a few mstpa trucks as well.

Shelby offers a cast iron head class. Some superstocks can jump in as well. They also have a alum head class. modified and open.

Stock and brush class's also.
See ya there

Thanks for asking but the Bear Branch Binder is officially retired. I'm going to put it in the corner and cover her up and not sure if she will be out again!! Its been a good run over the last 15 years but we are both tired and ready to concentrate more on family and cattle. I really appreciate and will miss all the wonderful people we have met over the years. Thanks Dean Buswell, The Bear Branch Binder

Re: IAMO Points Champions September 27, 2009 11:28PM
You, your family, and your tractor will be missed on the IAMO circuit!! Hope you get it out every once in awhile, it was always competitive and looked good. To good of a tractor to collect dust!

Thanks for the compliments on the IAMO Season. It was a great year with some very close points races and tough competition. Thank you to Charrise, Connie, Tami, Rod, Cameron, Holly, Andrew, and everyone that made our shows work so well throughout the year. As for the fall Shelby show, I want to thank The David Hardy Family, The Dean Buswell Family, Dane Lambert, and everyone from the Shelby community that made the pull a great event. 198 Hooks in 7-1/2 hours after a rainy morning. Special thanks to Gary Sobotka and his Red Rock Sled and Connie and Darryl Ruffcorn and the Ol' Busch for hitting the sled settings all night. A big thank you to the pullers and most importantly to the fans for coming and making our sprt GREAT. Thanks again, Kevin Stover
