Good morning,

We almost have all 6 classes full! 42 Fwds 43 Mini Rods 50 Twds 50 Pro Stocks 50 4.1 Limited Pros 20 SSD 4x4 $50,000 to win in each class on Saturday night! Over $800,000 in purse money will be paid out to the pullers! We are beyond excited for this and can't wait for it! I hope all you fans can come out, we have camping on site also there is a lot of hotels within 15 minutes. Dubuque IA has a lot of them. This pull is one of the best ideas that pulling has seen in many years. Trucks, mini's, hooded tractors. 260 vehicles in total, just amazing. The pressure to win $50k on the Saturday night session will be intense. They are well prepared for any inclement weather. This is one more event that pullers and fans will talk about before and after the show. Dick Morgan www.PULLOFF.com Independent Pulling News |

I bet they could probably get more trucks in the 4wd class if they made it to open cubic inch like most associations. I know some pullers that want to but can't because its a 650 limit. makes me wish the associations could figure out a way to have a uniform set of rules. |

Is there a list some where of whose sighed up |
Re: LARGEST PAYING PULL IN HISTORY

find list @
|
ntpapull.com "News" column on right side of home page. Scroll down quite aways. Listing is now 3 months old. But at that point in time, the maximum 50 entries for the 4.1 PS and the PS class was already full and competitors listed. The other classes were welcoming competitor 'resume'. |

4wd fan, then you would see most of the 650 cube guys sit and you'd never fill the class. I'm betting Simons are using NTPA rules since they run NTPA, have a NTPA 650 cube truck, and there are far more 650 trucks than open cube trucks.
I agree there needs to be an equalizer in this class for events like this or farm show, or they need to combine rules. How does the open cubic inch engine make the class more exciting? What equalizer, I am not sure. For the guys that say there is no big difference open your eyes. You don't see too many 650 guys pull with the open cubes anymore. When you compare cubic inch to horse power its a big difference. Just rough numbers 650 is around 1800 horse which is 2.7 horse per cubic inch. 900 cubic inch at the same calculation is 2492. Who's going to pay $2500 to go into a pull being that far under horse power knowing Simons are building a horse power track? |

I fail to see the excitement for the fans in this deal. No Unlimited's, no Mods, no SSD. Pullers getting paid more or paying more to pull adds nothing to the show for the fans. Paying a class a bunch of money doesn't make it any more fun to watch. They already Run stuff as hard as they can. Not interested at all. |

I bet you're a blast at parties. This is a cool concept and it's bringing in a lot of great pullers. Don't be a buzz kill |

As usual you didn't answer the question. What makes this better for the fans? |

I'm in the same boat as you. Basically the "haves" throwing their money around expecting the "have nots" to be excited and come watch.
What exactly is the draw for me to come half way across the country to watch the same thing I can see in Bowling Green? |

Thats why it is great to live in America, you don't have to show up. |

Don't understand the hate

I don't understand the negative comments about this pull, Simon's are tryn to do something that has been a major topic before --- low purses ---- looks like they have alot of people interest in this, it's plain and simple, if you don't like the idea then don't go an support it, but don't complain any more about purses not bein large enough. Not everyone that watches Nascar or Top Fuel in NHRA have race cars of that caliber but they go and watch the big race anyway. I for one Applaud the Simon family for doin it, I hope it works !!!! |

I guess in my eyes what makes this better for the fans is the intense competition like never before! Pullers will be all letting it hang out to try and win $50k! |

Forgive my ignorance but I am right to assume that the majority of the purse is being paid by the pullers themselves? |

Yes you are correct the Purse on Saturday night only is paid for with the entry fee they paid in. Pros, 4.1s, Twds, fwds, & minis all paid in $2,500. SSD4x4 paid in $5,000! We are so excited and happy the pullers have spoken and they also wanted this! To have a chance to Win a purse like this is crazy you could go all over the us win every pull all year and not bring home $50k! its very exciting and i hope everyone see that! |

I disagree with the statement that “they already run stuff as hard as they can”. With $50k on the line you ain’t seeing nothing yet…. Kudos to the Simon’s for at least trying something different. |

So how much harder can you run a 4.1? Enlighten us please! You act like they're going to turn the tires like an Unlimited. Name one of those classes that isn't running as hard as it will run now to win. I hope Simon's do well with the endeavor. My only point is if you don't have classes that interest me, paying them $5 million to win doesn't make them any more interesting! |

I am sorry for this Fan 2 but i feel the 4.1 class does not get the credit they deserve along with a lot of these other classes we are having and if you don't think these pullers in all of these classes are not going to the dyno buying new parts and making peak horsepower for this pull well i have another thing to tell you! it will be a pull like no other i hope you change your mind and attend and or at least watch it because i will guarantee you will regret not watching it! |

If this pull isn't for you then fine sit it out. But the pull has my interest because they are gathering 50 of the best pro stocks. minis, and FWDs! How is it not exciting that they are gathering the best of the best to pull together. You're right the money doesn't make it more exciting from the fan perspective but gathering that many quality pullers definitely gets my attention. I'll be making the drive from Bowling Green OH to Farley to see the event. |

I'm not sure why there is any negative comments about this event. Apparently they don't seem to have any problems getting pullers to sign up. And entry fee's support a vast number of events. I guess if the Simon's are willing to sponsor the show and the pullers and signing up that should dispel and issues with the event. The sport needs this kind of " thinking outside the box " approach. My take is, sit back and enjoy the show. Dick Morgan www.PULLOFF.com Independent Pulling News |

I think it’s a great idea! But if I were in the parts business I’d expect to be busy the following week, they’ll all be on kill which will make a great show. |

[tickets.fullpull.us] we are doing ticket packages with full pull we have pre sale tickets discounted and camping. Its is going to be a party you wont want to miss! We have a full bar/event center on site! We also have a liquor license at our event! Not too many pulls you can watch and enjoy a Whiskey, Rum or Vodka instead of a beer! Sorry for not responding sooner to everyone here but thank you all so much for supporting us we are trying as Dick said we are thinking out side the Box trying to do something different i know maybe all don't agree with it but i would appreciate the support and then judge it after not before i hope we can change your mind! |
