does anyone know of a source for loose needle bearings for a rear differential. every bearing supply I've contacted only sells them in large quanities [5000pcs] I need 100 1/8 x 1 3/16

I have to go measure them but i got enough needles to do 4 spider gears from my newholland dealer when i only had 2 gears, the whole bag full didn't really cost much either! mod.8670 pn.9845301 qty. 112

Thanks for trying Jim, TRB's are closer to what I'm needing. I already tried McMaster Carr and I looked again but still couldn't find any Loose needles.John Deere I would need a part # I think

@ John Deere, depends on who you get at the parts counter!!!
A good parts person could find it, no problem (they have for me, but I'm picky about who I get waited on by there).
Usually much better parts people @ JD than NAPA, or Oreilley's, etc.

I have an old NAPA bearing book - it lists .1250 dia x 1.1800 long with a spherical end. Part #Q8308; package qty 116

I was at NAPA today and the number checks out in the book but the number is no longer in the computer and they called and I was told that those needle bearings are no longer available through NAPA. Anyone have another supplier or Number. Thanks

I thought I had some ordered but was contacted today and thewere not available . Got some more possibilities New Star part # S-11979 is the same. they are also used in jeep transfer cases np 249 np 242as well as the nv 242 one part # is 361715-2 not sure who's part # it is yet,motive gear or jeep
