Rim width in farm stock November 26, 2009 07:23AM
Hey everybody,

I was wondering what the limit is on rim width when pulling farm stock? Someone told me that 18" is the max, but are these rules written down somewhere or are they just common knowledge?

Thanks in advance for the insight.

I am pulling in Southern WI and am fairly new to pulling. Do certain regions have farm stock rules or is it kind of law of the land / run what you brung?

I pull in Illinois, haven't seen a limit in any of the rules. We use 20.8-38 on a 21" rim.

I don't think it should be a rule-any rim width.
