will a double disc pedal style crower clutch hold a 3000 rpm 466 ih with p pump and 3 by 3 charger? i dont know if i should rebuild the one i got or go with a tripple disc. can doubles be converted to a tripple?

You might not have room for a 3 disc or you will have to make room.Call this guy 740 659 2072 terry is his name in ohio good guy on clutch stuff

Yes the double will hold that hp. ours hold with a 466 intercooled 3X3.72 with single stage water

Depends on what gear your running and what kind of torque your making, believe it or not running 3000 rpms is harder on clutches than wide open. If your making over 1000 hp and running 12 or 18% over road gear I would go with a triple disk. Double disk you will burn the *&^$$%^ out of it.

im not sure what the horse is. i was running road gear and it wasnt fast enough so i sped up the rear end from 12, 49 to 13, 49 and its still not fast enough, going to go up another 6% in tranny. will this clutch freshened up hold?

we have been running 12% over for the last two years and we have had to freshen up the clutch once if you run the crowler clutch pads in a spring clutch you wont have much problem. we are running with badger state profarm and a putting 18% over in this year and not changing clutchs.
