I just bought a triple disk clutch for my john deere hot farm tractor and it takes a lot to push in the clutch... is the preasure gonna screw up my thrust washer? if so is there somthing i can do to keep it from doing that???

You can add a thrust bearing on the front of the engine for the crank to push against when the clutch is depresses. I've seen it done on a Case.(which has a poor thrust) Just use a T.O. bearing that's adjustable to keep the crank centered. Hope this helps. Also never start the engine with the clutch depressed. No oil pressure.

i realize there is a lot of pressue there. but i have rarely seen it cause problems on a jd or ih
