6100lb-360ci 2 charger for one and 351+ ci 5700 lbs and up to 3 chargers for the other. I have a copy of both rule books right here. If I was stuck with the 310 limit I would be building a 310 Wakashau motor instead. I shouldn't call them LLSS class I guess, they both call them 6SS with weight breaks.

You could run twin chargers with IAMO but it has to be 350CI or below

I Dont think badger state allows 5.9s period January 20, 2010 12:13PM
Cant say I blame them. With all the off the shelf credit card bolt ons. It would only be a matter of dyno time before Mr. No brains big money ruined it for the rest of the class.

If your talking to be. The only reason I can build this tractor is because I'm going to machining school and will be doing the work my self. As for big money I work part time and take 18hours per semester. My budget is less than $7500 after purchasing the chassis and I'm making querterly payments on it. Sweat and hard labor are making up my budget defficite. Beer

what kind of hp are the 310 waukesha engines making in youre llss clases? Are there any guys running turbo gas engines with a carb in youre area? thanks,

At this point I don't think their are any running 310 around here. I have seen a couple on 2 charger set-ups making around 1000hp. To be honest , if I didn't already have a 5.9 propain irrigation motor. I would have looked into a 310. Theirs one for sale less than 10miles from me.

Whats nice about the Cummins is I was able to order a set of Mahl piston and Corrilo rods with no hassle. Like I said above. My budget is small for this tractor. So being able to order off the shelf allows me to stay with-in that budget.

If $ wasn't a object I would have my componet chassis built and would be running my Detroit. Instead I was laid off and decided to go back to school. The Detriot is setting on an engine stand gathering dust. This set-up allows me to continue pulling till things turn around and I can finish it.
