Theres no other good injector for that type of motor atleast one that i know of

they used 2 styles, the better nozzle is the bosch type,,,it is the one that has the bigger nut that holds the assy together,,you can set them at a higher pressure and they perform better,,other than that,, theres nothing that i am aware of,,,but,anythiung can be done,,!!!!!!

Well allis chalmer injectors work with a 282. When i ran the 282 i had allis chalmer injectors and 450 rosamaster. never had fuel problems just head gaskets.

I used case 1030 injectors. with the ih precup. They can flow alot more fuel as I had a p-pump on mine. That was years ago. I still have the injectors and the holders I believe. With that setup, I could get 5500 rpms out of the motor, but you really need to keep the head cool and that is a real challenge with the pre cup. Sign an e-mail and I'll e-mail you if you want.

Could you also email me about the details of using 1030 injectors in the 282/301. I have a neighbor that pulls a 560 and he needs a little more and I happen to have some 1030 injectors if we can adapt them to fit. My email is BigJake_50@hotmail.com I would appreciate your response.

remove innards of nozzle, drill and tap to install dt 466 nozzles
