will a826 hydro rearend fit onto a 1066 is the hydro rear end have a ring drive faster then a gas 706 rearend? Whats the ring count for each?

826 and 706 are the same teeth count 16/49

high clear 706's had the 16/49. otherwise i believe they had a 13/49. not sure on the 826 count. i would assume it would be either 13/49 or 13/51.

The ring & pinion for an 826 is a 12 & 49 tooth count, same as a late 806, 1206's, 1256's, and 856's. Both 826 Hydro's & 826 gear drives used the same ring & pinion.

16/49 is the fastest 13/49 then 13/51 then 12/49 then the slowest 11/52.
