The White has been a consistent runner over the last couple of seasons, usually gets hooked to the track pretty well. Binderlite did some hood mods for him a couple of years ago, and really streamlined the overall appearance. A good looking tractor, all around.

Hopeing I can come up with the $ for some bindelite also. Will say 120 though. Polish it till it shines and clear coat it!!

Thats Tom Haines tractor, he pulls LLSS with ORVTPA and BOB. It is a very strong running tractor, not sure what engine he is running though.

Re: 2-70 white at gordyville January 28, 2010 10:01PM
Thats TOM HAINES , he had a spark plug blow out at gordyville, was on a good run till that happened, still made the finals. He runs the wakushaw in it(370 cubes). We'll be starting on mine pretty soon (5.9 CUMMINS). Great guy, very smart on this stuff !!!!

Re: 2-70 white at gordyville January 29, 2010 03:14AM
Tom is an outstanding guy. Never pass up a chance to meet him. He is always going out of his way to help other pullers. He is a big part of the progress that the llss class has made over the years. we assisted him on the dash and sideshields and the rest of the tractor is all his own work. If he ever spent the time on his own tractor that he does on others he would be a very dangerous competitor.

Sounds like a great guy and it is a great looking tractor.Any idea what kind of hp the llss tractors are making? would love to see this class here in the east.

Re: 2-70 white at gordyville January 29, 2010 12:35PM
From what I heard from different ones who run in that class around 1200 hp give or take

Re: 2-70 white at gordyville January 29, 2010 02:45PM
Nice guy and goodlooking tractor,it's just a poor man's component'but no wait 'components aren't in that class.

Re: 2-70 white at gordyville January 29, 2010 03:59PM
Don't start no sh!t , it's legal all the way around !! P.S.Jelously is unatractive!!!!!!!!!!

Re: 2-70 white at gordyville January 29, 2010 04:06PM
Thanks Dady's girl. This tractor has run for quit awhile and never had any problems. Be adult please.

Re: 2-70 white at gordyville January 29, 2010 04:09PM
Yes tom has a very good running tractor...and its all tractor! From the factory white/oliver rearend to the factory 310 wakesha block. You can say its component all you want but the fact is its a real tractor! No hand me down truck motor under the hood on this tractor. Cry about it bein component if you want but its more tractor than most!

Re: 2-70 white at gordyville January 30, 2010 02:08AM
Sorry but that tractor still has part of the factory cast iron frame tub connecting the motor rigid to the rear end.

Very nice WHITE, Looks very Sharp. Im Running the WHITE 2-70 that started out in eastern IOWA. ED DRIESEN stated out with it and im the 4th generation. Im still running the 310 in my WHITE and of course still a Diesel and for all the pullers that remember, it was a tough runner and tough competitor. I wish i would of made it out to Gordyville and atleast seen the WHITE run. Few guys for bersford SD were out to Gordyville had seen that 2-70 run and had told me it was very impressive.Good Luck to all you pullers

I can't say enough good things about Tom and his tractor. He is a true sportsman, anyone who will jump off their tractor to help another competitor get his tractor going and even give you parts out of his well equipped NAPA truck to help is a real tractor puller. Thanks alot Aaron Prewitt
