if you want it to be a farm stock class 5mph is a good speed the hot tractors will not have a big advantage at 4 or 5mph

I agree no more than 8mph. i have heard some around here throwing out 10-12 mph but that is just catering to the hot tractors and leaving the farm stock out to dry!

I agree with massey1150 and cumminsracer; a 4 mph speed limit is good for 9500 lb class. It keeps the true farm stock tractors competitive. My brothers and I pull a farm stock Oliver 1655 and have placed 1st in the 9500 lb class, beating a 1066 or two along the way. Any faster than 4 mph isnt farm stock for this weight class

We pull in Greene and Washington Counties in SW PA. We used to use the tractor on the farm, but now the brackets and tires stay on year-round.
