This year i have to put a roll cage on my v8 modified what are soem general rules to go buy for building as in tubing diameter and thickness thank you

2" o.d. TUBE (not pipe) DOM or Chromoly
Chromo thickness is .095, DOM is .120
This is for the main hoops, there are some tubes that can be smaller, but in most cases, easier to just get a bunch of 2" and go to work.
Chromo must be TIG welded.
2 hoops from left to right if under 6200 lbs, and 3 hoops if over.
