need a gear reduction starter for my g . where do i get one . or what are they useing ?

We had a 970 cubic inch G that was hard on starters
Started out using the gear reduction AC Delco stater that is used on Bobcats and they worked OK but not great
Ended up using a Nipendenso stater off of a newer style JD tractor and that worked really well for us you can get these in either 12V or 24V we used the 12
Another thing that we did to help make the tractor start better was to put in larger petcocks with oneway check valves so that the would relive the presure in the cylinder but would nort draw air in during the intake stroke and cause the cylinder mixture to lean out
