Is there any one out there that is running a Haslag IH frame? Looking for pictures of tractors that are running this frame. Any help would be great. Thanks

are your frame rails on the outside of clutch housing ,and can the engine be removed with the frame left in place ?

Re: kbacker IH frame March 11, 2010 12:53AM
Backer, does your front end come with all of the steering components and wheels ready to bolt on?

Re: kbacker IH frame March 11, 2010 01:39AM
If I was to use one on my tractor can I still farm with it?

Re: kbacker IH frame March 11, 2010 03:10AM
My rails are bolted on where the stock rails bolt. I jack my tractor up in the middle and unbolt the frame, roll it outta the way like a wheel barrow. I like it like that so nothing is in my way when working on it.

No the axle assembly/steering cylinder/skis/tires and wheels are separate.

Could you farm with this?? Well define "farm" I wouldnt recommend putting a loader on it LOL But if you were gonna pull regular implements I dont see why not. You might however when putting an axle under it put something that tilts. Mine are mounted ridged if that makes any sense.

The frt end in the picture (rails, weight bracket, axle with steering, tires and wheels, radiator and waterpump) weighs 400 lbs

I bought a roll cage from them at gordyville. And was able to talk to Dennis about some of his work for pullers. Dennis is very easy to get along with and willing to work with anybody. He had an IH frame for display at gordyville, excellent craftsmanship and I am sure he would be willing to talk to anyone for modifications and building for other tractors.
