Alright IH lovers I have a few Engine building questions March 21, 2010 10:16PM
helping a friend of mine, we are building a IH 466, gunna pull farm stock, kinda anyway we are planning on 3000 RPM max class, 13mm pump biggerinjectors, all the goodies that everyone else uses I guess, any way being we have the engine completely dissasembled, and it DOES need a camshaft, we were thinking custom grind, GOOD IDEA OR BAD IDEA???? if we do go with custom gring do we have to have tops of pistons cut? where is a good place to get a Cam from for a binder? anybody have any used parts laying around for this type of build that they would like to part with, thanks for all input....

i agree, cam is huge help, plus you'll have to pistons cut. 200 to 250 to be safe.
