Boyds have a third pro stocker on the list. Anyone know if this is a typo or what the scoop is?
Also noticed Dennis Johnson's Shagnasty is on the UNLSS list. That should add some excitement this summer. |

The NTPA still thinks there the big dogs in town,,,,look at all the former NTPA pullers in PPL and the number in each one of there classs and tell me the NTPA is doing good. when PPL picks up the lite Supers and Lite Pro Stock the NTPA might as well have the garage sale now!!!!!!! Time for the NTPA to start putting the pullers first!!!! Not sombodies wallet!!!! |

You are the one that has been misinformed.
I was in Indiana to visit a power plant for work the week of March 22 and stopped by Boyd and Sons afterwards since I was only 15 miles from them. Greg Boyd gave me a tour of their farming, construction, construction equipment parts and sales, trucking, and tractor pulling operation. The Boyd's have a very large and impressive operation. Greg showed me the third tractor that will be out this summer and said it was the component chassis from one of their previous two 8000 series tractors (whichever one didn't go to the Lucas Oil Dome). It will have a new R-series Deere hood and paint similar to GS and GS II. Powerplant may be either a big or small block. Thanks to Steve, Mike, and Greg for acommodating me and a tour without advance notice. Todd Domann |
