how much fuel should i have? April 08, 2010 01:30PM
i am building a 466 international with a P-pump and I am limited to a slugged 2.75 charger, 3250 rpm's and 8mph with the possibility of putting on a cage and no speed limit within the next couple years. how much fuel will I need and what should my pump be capable of putting out? just trying to get as many opinions as I can to make sure i'm on the right track. thanks ahead for the input!

I understand you want to build for the future, but all that for 8mph? A turned up stocker will handle that. Seems like a strange set of rules.

most of my competition will have in-line pumps but i wasnt sure how much fuel i will need. my pump now is capable of 400cc's. will that be enough?

yup 400cc is plenty u could probably run road gear in the light classes because most of the hot ambac pumps dont get but 350cc
