Case vs IH vs Deere May 16, 2010 03:30AM
Can an 1175 Case compete with the binders and the deeres in a 3000 rpm class with no speed limit???

i am a case guy,and i would say no,if the 3 brands are equal cu in and equal dollars spent, the case will be behind.

It does take some tweaking, but yes you can be very competive.

I'm not sure I agree with patches. If your pulling with a 451 you can be competetive as long as the other tractors are playing fair put in a 504 and it will compete with some pretty good runnning 466 A pump tractors. Yes I know you said same cubes, just my thoughts.

You bet a Case will compete. what you're not telling us is the cube limit & pump rule?

In certain areas i would go so far as to say a case dominates. Just like all the rest of the pulling world boils down to how much money u want to spend and how hard you want to push the rules envelope. Changing the block to 504 a good start.

As far as cube limit, there is none...and the pum has got to be stock appearing, so the binders need a small nut rotary pump and so on...
