Just a reminder, we are having our 8th annual Sweet on Life charity tractor pull on Friday, June 4 at the Valley Puller pulling facility in Rock Valley, IA. It will start at 6:00 pm. hoping the weather is good, can't wait for the pulling season to start, they usually have a good turnout of 3000 rpm tractors and super farm tractors, anyone know how many you are expecting?? can't wait to smell the diesel smoke

we are looking for a good nite of fun for the whole family and a good nite of pulling with 2 skids (X factor, and Red Rock), there will be good food, and all money raised goes to support the Am.Cancer Society, we are hearing of some 3000 rpm tractors coming from Shleswig& Cherokee area, and some coming from Nebraska, and some coming up with the Red Rock Sled, along with all the Great Plains 3000 rpm tractors, so we think we will have a big group of 3000 rpm tractors, Super Farms we think we will have 15 to 20, there is about 10 local tractors plus we are hearing about some out of Neb. (Weisenkamp's, Engelmeyer, and maybe some others) plus Red Iron and Turbo up and a few others coming up out of missouri. should be a good nite of pulling, ATTENTION all pullers please make sure you are there on time or call ahead to preregister, Pull starts at 6:00 and registration WILL STOP at 5:30, you can call any of the numbers on the origanal post that started this thread. thanks to all pullers and fans for supporting this Great event, we look forward to seeing you on the 4th

Are there any 6700 and 7700lb 3000 RPM tractors planning on being there ? We are planning on bringing Dads tractor and just looking for someone to pull with

i think the great plains runs 6700# and 7500#, but yes there will probably be 6-8 tractors in each class, i know there was some new one built over the winter and they are all hard runners

Thanks John,, weather channel says it should be dry so we are looking for a great nite of family fun and good pulling and yea there will be good food also, but the gals making all the food are in there 30's and 40's and probably wouldn't like being called old hahaha, anyway again to all pullers please preregister BEFORE 5:30 pm the day of the pull, numbers to call for info. or to preregister are on the first post that started this thread, thanks again and we will see ya all fri. nite,

that is if we get rained out on friday nite, but the weather channel is calling for only 30 percent chance of rain , so pretty sure the pull will be friday nite starting at 6:00, registration stops at 5:30, watch pullof om friday moring and we will keep everyone updated or you can call one of the numbers on the first thread that started this post for information, see ya all friday nite

Just wondering how everybody was coming along with their tractors, and if they were done putting the finishing touches on everything for Friday night. It should be a great night for a great cause, and it would be great to see carloads of people and truckloads of tractors. If you haven't been there before its a wonderful time, with a lot of great people and a ton of great food. Well I guess the tractor pulling isn't so bad either its quite a show. Whats so neat is that it will be a plethra of NTPA and Outlaw Super Farms, and Great Plains, West Central Iowa, and Northeast Nebraska 3000rpm tractors. So heres hoping for great weather, and a lot of money raised to fight a horrible disease that has affected a lot of people.

thanks John, everything looks like a go for tonite, had a nice rain last nite ( the track needed some water anyway) sun is suppose to shine today, so it should be a great nite for pulling and and family fun, thanks to all the pullers and fans who have come in the past years and to those who will be there tonite,
