I was recently looking at the itpa website(Illinois) at the past point champions and i just wanted to see if anyone had any predictions on who was going to win some of the classes this year? I'm mainly talking about super stocks, pro stocks, mods, the bigger classes mainly. Thanks for your input. i'll be interested to see what some of you put! |

I would say Ed Orrell is gonna win pro stock again. I don't think anyone else will make the full season again this year. |
Re: Itpa pulling

I think that Darrin and Craig Ratermann or Dennis or Rodeny Schnitker will win the Pro-stock's |

I like the ITPA have watched them pull at the Will County Fair for at least the last 20 years but i see in the For sale section some of the heavy Farm Stock tractors are for sale namely two JD 6030's Whats going to happen to the class or did they not sell just curious? |

Well, I pull ITPA also, and from what I have heard there are alot of changes happening to that class.
Namely, "Farm Stock" has become "Pro Farm" and now requires many of the safety feautres (cages, tiebars, ect) that any other ITPA big tractor class has to have.... |

IN THE KNOW!!

I dunno what anyone else thinks but prostock prediction # 1 goes to Dan Kuhns out of Arthur. That trailblazer Massey is one straight running, horse power making machine. |

I'm not convinced that Trailblazer can't win the title. On my earlier post I forgot about it. They have been running really good all winter and is gonna be a player. There haven't been any green tractors that hook all of the state hooks. |

Why has no one answered my question? |
Re: Itpa pulling

the pro farms classes are using the same weights as they have been in the past |
Re: Itpa pulling

Thanks. And you have to put a 47.1 roll cage on? |
Re: Itpa pulling
|
i kno that trailblazer pulled ppl champ tour last year and if he does it again then ed orell jr will more than likely win the pro stock title schnitkers have too much farming to do while rodeny is pulling ppl and little and sapp i believe also pull ppl. As for the super farm class i see one of the mowery team tractors winnin the super farm title there they are pretty good and they support itpa more than any other organization they make as many hooks as they can make while they are pretty much the only true super farm tractor that hits itpa points hard. |
Re: Itpa pulling
|
yes the must all have all the safety stuff just like the pros and super farm |

Thank you again. I am not trying to start anything, I would like to know how they can tell the competitor the must have the 47.1 cage and weigh 12000 lbs. when the 47.1 cage is only good up to 10000 lbs.. About 12 years ago when the roll cage rule came in effect, the prostocks were told no more 12000 lbs. class because SFI said the roll cage would not handle it. I have been to the SFI website, it says 47.1 and up to 10000 lbs..
Has there been an update on the spec that sfi has told the sanctioning bodies(ITPA is a member) but has not been put on their website yet? |
